Looking for mediterranean bathroom decor with a little personality? Blue patterned floors, arched mirrors and earthy colors give you plenty to work with.
These bathrooms range from simple cream spaces to colorful rooms with lemon prints and bold tile combinations.
You can keep things simple or go all out. Start with a few accessories if you’re not planning a renovation.
I especially love the blue accents, but there are plenty of pretty neutral ideas here too!
Mediterranean Bathroom Ideas Worth Saving
blue flowers and bright shutters
We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous blue-and-white bathroom. I love the floral floor tiles and that bright blue window frame. Even the shower has a little blue stripe running around it.
If you want to try a smaller part of this look, pair a carved brown mirror with a leafy arrangement beside your sink.
teal tiled shower arch
How pretty is this shower? The teal tiles follow the arch and continue across the ceiling inside.
That tiny arched niche is such a cute detail.
Keep your towels and surrounding walls white if you want a similar look. The shower already brings plenty of color.
rust-colored floors and white walls
If you are looking for something simple, this one is for you. Rust-colored square floor tiles sit beneath white shower walls, with gold-tone fixtures adding a little shine.

The trailing plant in the niche is my favorite finishing touch. Try one small plant rather than filling every corner with accessories.

arched mirror and patterned backsplash
I am obsessed with this little sink nook. The beige patterned tiles are so pretty behind the round basin, plus that tall arched mirror fits the space beautifully.
A small potted plant and a white hand towel are enough to follow the styling here. You don’t need to cover the whole counter.
tall greenery and a stump stool
Don’t want to change your tiles? No problem! Take inspiration from the tall potted tree and stump-shaped stool beside this shower.
I love the folded towel and little brush on top. For your own bathroom, choose greenery suited to the light you have or try a faux version.
shimmery cream shower tiles
These little cream tiles may just be one of my favorite details here. The light catches their uneven-looking surfaces, so the shower doesn’t need a bold pattern.
The two long niches give the bottles their own space. Keep a similar display simple with a few coordinating containers.
oval mirror and glowing pendant
If you love darker neutrals, save this one. The rounded pendant shade looks so pretty beside the tall oval mirror, with a mottled bowl sink underneath.
I especially love the dark vase with leafy branches. A similar arrangement would be a lovely way to dress up an otherwise simple counter.
arched window and terracotta-colored pots
That arched window is gorgeous! The brown floating vanity and pale rectangular sink keep the rest of the room fairly simple, while the mirror has a beautifully weathered-looking finish.
Try a pair of terracotta-colored pots in different heights to borrow the styling below the window. Leave one empty and add a few tall branches to the other.
ornate lanterns and golden walls
If you are looking for something a little more dramatic, then this one is for you. There’s so much to look at, from the scrolling lantern brackets to the decorative border above the sink.
The golden walls make this room feel especially rich in color. I’d borrow just the lantern style if you prefer a less ornate bathroom.
copper-colored tub and bowl sinks
I am obsessed with this tub. Its shiny copper-colored finish matches the two bowl sinks, with a patterned tiled arch right behind it.
The exposed ceiling beams and dark lanterns add even more detail. For a smaller nod to this room, try an earthy-colored jug beside a patterned tile backsplash.
blue stripes and floral patterns
Who says you have to choose just one pattern? This bathroom has blue-and-white stripes up top, floral designs below and little patterned borders between them.
I love the baskets tucked into the open vanity. Keep your storage pieces in similar brown shades if you want to follow this colorful room without adding another color.
sand-colored arches and lit niches
Don’t want to add bright colors or busy patterns? No problem there! This bathroom sticks to sandy shades, with an arched bathing alcove and little illuminated niches.
The long vanity has very few accessories. A small vase and neatly folded towels would be a pretty starting point for your own version.
yellow lemons everywhere
How cute is this lemon theme? The shower curtain, framed print and little lemon-slice rug all bring yellow into the room. Even the hand towel joins in!
This is a playful way to borrow Mediterranean citrus colors without changing your bathroom fixtures. Start with the curtain if you don’t want the whole matching set.
exposed beams and earthy floor tiles
If you’re looking for a room that keeps the decoration to a minimum, go with this idea. Exposed ceiling beams and long, mottled floor tiles provide most of the detail.
I love how simple the shower looks behind the clear screen. There’s no need to add a busy curtain or lots of countertop decorations to follow this look.
patchwork tiles and hanging lights
The pattern lovers are going to love this! Blue, ochre and reddish details run through the patchwork tiles behind the sink and toilet.
Those hanging shades are so pretty at different heights. If you want a quieter version, choose one patterned tile area and keep your rug plain instead.
gathered vanity curtains
This is such a cute alternative to cabinet doors. Pale gathered curtains cover the spaces beneath the long counter, with a dark oval mirror above the sink.

The handled vase of dried stems is another lovely detail. Try a similar vase if you want to add something decorative without bringing in bright colors.
soft beige and a framed floral print
This bathroom keeps things pale and simple, but the arched shower entrance gives you something beautiful to look at. I love the framed floral print in the lit recess beside it.
If you have a suitable dry wall away from splashes, try a framed botanical picture to bring a little of this look into your bathroom.
cobalt stripes and hanging bottles
I know the blue patterns above are gorgeous, but these bold stripes are another favorite. Mostly because they look so cute with the round brown mirror and pale, pitted-looking basin.
The hanging blue bottles are such a fun extra detail. Try blue decorative bottles on a shelf if you’d rather skip suspending them.
blue shutters and yellow niches
This may just be my favorite colorful bathroom on the list. I love the blue shutter-style vanity doors and yellow shelving niches.
The floral floor ties those colors together so nicely.

There’s even a patterned border around the arched mirror. Keep your towels plain if you want to let all those pretty tiles stand out.
arched shapes and trailing leaves
Last but definitely not least, we have this lovely neutral bathroom. The arched mirror echoes the window, with a ribbed backsplash tucked behind the round sink.
I love the trailing greenery on the windowsill. A basket of folded towels beneath the vanity finishes this simple setup without crowding the counter.
