Looking for pie recipes with graham cracker crust? These pictures offer plenty of inspo, from chocolate layers to glossy berries and pretty citrus slices.
There’s a plain crust idea too if you’re still deciding what to put inside.
You can keep the topping simple or go all out with swirls and chocolate curls. These are visual ideas rather than full recipes. A couple show dark crumb crusts, so treat those as filling inspiration rather than confirmed graham cracker versions.

Pie Ideas With Crumb Crusts to Save
yellow filling and lime slices
We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous yellow pie. I love the white swirls around the edge and the little lime wedges tucked between them.
If you want to follow the same presentation, keep the center plain and add your citrus garnish along one side. The golden crumb edge still gets its moment.
chocolate with a white swirl
How good does this chocolate pie look? The dark filling has a big swirl of white topping right in the middle, with chocolate shavings scattered over it.
Leave a little chocolate showing around the outside if you want to recreate this look. You don’t need a piping bag for every pretty pie!
banana slices on top
I am obsessed with those layers. There’s a golden crumb base, pale yellow filling and a thick white topping with banana slices sitting right on top.
For a similar serving idea, save a couple of banana rounds for each slice rather than covering the entire pie.
lemon icebox pie
If you are looking for simple decorating inspo, this one is for you. The lemon icebox pie has a pale yellow center and a ruffled-looking crumb edge.
I especially love the topping placed off to one side. A curled lemon slice and green leaves make that little cluster so pretty.
individual crumb crusts
How cute are these little pie shells? The picture shows orange-colored filling being poured into individual golden crusts, with an empty one at the front.
Try the mini format with a recipe written for individual pies. The photo alone doesn’t tell us the filling flavor or baking time.
strawberry cream cheese layers
This strawberry cream cheese pie may just be one of my favorites here. I love the bright red strawberries over that thick white layer.
The piped swirls sit around the outside instead of hiding the fruit. Keep that same arrangement if you want the glossy strawberry topping to stand out.
peanut butter and chocolate
The peanut butter fans are going to love this combination. A thick tan filling sits beneath a smooth chocolate layer, with little piped details around the edge.
This picture shows a dark crumb crust, not a confirmed graham cracker crust. For a golden-crust variation, choose a peanut butter pie recipe that specifically supports that swap.
a tall slice with coconut flakes
If you love a tall slice, this one is worth saving. The pale yellow filling rises well above the thin golden base, with white topping and lightly browned coconut flakes above it.
Those flakes are my favorite detail. You could use a similar garnish on a coconut pie recipe.
s’mores pudding pie
Who doesn’t love a s’mores-inspired dessert? This slice has a thick crumb base, chocolate filling and a pile of marshmallows with browned tops.
The little chocolate chips make it even cuter. Follow a tested recipe for the toasting step rather than guessing from the picture.
glossy cherry topping
I am obsessed with this cherry-topped slice. The bright red topping spills slightly down the tall white filling, with a thin golden crust underneath.
You don’t need extra decoration here. I’d leave those glossy cherries as the main detail.
a plain graham cracker shell
Haven’t picked your filling yet? Here’s the starting point: a plain graham cracker crust pressed across the bottom and up the sides of a glass pie dish.
I love how simple this is. Use your chosen filling recipe to check whether the shell needs baking or chilling before you fill it.
blueberries from edge to edge
Don’t want to cover your fruit with lots of topping? No problem! This pie lets the glossy blueberries fill almost the entire surface.
The slice in the background has a white dollop on top. Serving each piece that way would keep the whole pie’s berry-covered look.
mississippi mud layers
There’s so much going on in this Mississippi mud pie, from the dark chocolate layer to the thick white topping. The chocolate curls and chopped nuts are such a pretty finish.
The base is partly obscured in this close-up, so its ingredients aren’t clear. Save the layered look as inspiration for a verified graham cracker version.
a simple golden slice
Don’t want to add swirls or a pile of toppings? This golden-yellow slice keeps things simple with a smooth surface and a thin brown crumb shell.
I love the fluted edge on the pie in the background. A tart-style pan could give your own recipe a similar outline if it allows that pan.
speckled filling and white rosettes
How pretty is this little slice? Tiny dark specks run through the pale golden filling, with white rosettes along the back edge.
Keep the decoration near the crust if you want this same neat finish. The photo doesn’t establish the filling’s flavor, but the topping arrangement is worth saving.
pumpkin pie with a decorated center
This is such a pretty way to dress up pumpkin pie. The orange filling stays visible around a central cluster of white swirls, chopped nuts and a light dusting.
Instead of piping around the rim, try keeping your decoration in the middle like this. I love how much of the golden crust you can still see.
pale green and chocolate pieces
The pale green and dark chocolate colors are so cute together. There are chocolate pieces and cookie crumbs scattered over the filling and the white topping.
This is another dark-crust example rather than a confirmed graham cracker pie. If you want a similar look with graham crackers, find a recipe designed for that crust instead of assuming a direct swap.
sweet potato and toasted meringue
I am obsessed with these toasted meringue swirls. The browned ridges look gorgeous over the orange sweet potato filling and golden crumb crust.

Leave a border of filling showing if you want to follow this presentation. Use the recipe’s instructions for preparing and browning the meringue.
chocolate filling and curls
This is another chocolate idea, but it looks quite different from the dark chocolate pie above. The filling is lighter brown, with a thick white topping and lots of chocolate curls.
Those uneven curls are my favorite part. You could scatter yours loosely instead of arranging them in a perfect ring.
pale filling with golden pieces
Last but definitely not least, we have this pale yellow slice with little golden pieces throughout. I love how the filling sits above that thin crumb base.
The top is left plain here. If you like an unfussy finish, this is a lovely presentation to borrow for your next fruit-filled cream pie.
