Walking Along Seine River Bridge
Walking along a Seine bridge gives you water, architecture and a walking shot all in one frame. Shoot from the side rather than head on for this to work.

Sitting on a staircase gives a photo instant structure without much thought. The lines of the steps lead the eye straight to the subject.
I always pick outdoor stone staircases since carpet flattens the whole shot. My go-to move is chin on hand, eyes off to the side. Somehow that tiny tilt fools everyone into thinking it is candid!
